We received this video from one of our clients, Amy. She's been strength training with Morgan since 2018. She's dealt with asthma, as well as various injuries on and off her whole life. When she started working out with us, Amy wanted to focus on increasing her strength and longevity as she got older and ensuring she could keep up with all her activities, like traveling, flying, and hiking.
Last week, Amy participated in an event pulling a WWII airplane to raise money for charity... and she did not miss a beat! You read that correctly. Amy pulled a 22,000-pound aircraft with a team of 5 others. Not only was it physically demanding, but there was also some running involved. The most exciting thing for Amy was pulling the B-25 and not feeling physically strained or worrying about hurting herself. Just look at the pure joy on her face! She had a lot of fun.
Amy also wasn't prepared to be on a team. She thought she might be but didn't go out of her way to train for it in any particular way, but she was ready for the event because of the strength training she does with us weekly and knew how to use her training to her advantage.
Her next goal is to increase her lung capacity and continue strength training to prepare her for next year.
What goals can we help you achieve with strength training?
